Which part should we engrave?
By default we engrave the light squares and leave the dark ones as coating, so phones read it the normal way. Invert if you prefer bright squares on the dark card; most phones read that too.

How to engrave it
Logo: crisp shapes. Each color becomes its own shine level. Photo: smooth grayscale, like a portrait.

Colors
Slide each color: 100% is the brightest engraving, lower is more subtle, 0% leaves that part as untouched steel.

Brightness lifts or dims every color at once; contrast spreads them apart. Shapes never change, only how bright each part engraves.
Engraving intensity
More intensity makes a darker mark. The preview is approximate until calibrated for your material.
Swap light and dark engraved areas if the image looks like a negative. Transparent areas stay unengraved.
Mark intensity
Lower it for subtle patterns that let the material show through. The actual finish needs a sample test.
